Dacorum Rifle Club was formed in 1966 and has facilities for 25 yards prone at a range near Watford.
We compete in several postal competitions and open meetings including the Bisley and Scottish meetings. We also have internal competitions with many attractive trophies. Our own popular open meeting is held at Wendover each year on the Sunday of the August bank holiday.

Shooting is represented well at the Olympics in Beijing. The BBC has good coverage, with results and video features on the various disciplines and we encourage you to visit their site at http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympics/shooting/default.stm. If enough people visit their site they may get the message that shooting is a popular sport, and take us more seriously.
